Los Cedros villagerswoman holding childLos Cedros is located high in the mountains above Comayagua. The steepness of the terrain made the work very hard for these small mountain people.

The village gave us a wonderful inaguration at a plateau high in the mountains where their school is located. These people never imagined that they would not only have water but would have it right out of their doors. They have a pila (washbasin) which gives them immediate access to water.

pipelineThe children from the village sang three songs for us. One was even in English!

pipelineThere was an incredible tree about one hundred feet long that had fallen during hurricane Mitch back in 1998. This tree turned out to be a huge blessing. It provided a bridge that they were able use to place the water pipe. It fell exactly in the right place to make that happen!
