What an incredible experience! Kerry, Ryan, Jarum and myself were joined by newcomers and long-time sponsors, Kit Walsh and Billy T.
We met in Comayagua our Honduran friends and volunteers, Franklin, Carol and Francisco. We were fortunate enough to be able to visit up in the mountains our two latest completed water projects. The humility and gratitude of the people that live high in the mountains is an experience that I wish all could have. They literally go from having no water, except when it rains, to having clean, pure, fresh water right out their front door. It completely changes their lives.
The terrain we hiked was awesome! We were typically surrounded by coffee plants while hiking some very steep terrain.
La Ceibaand Roatan were also visited where we got to renew our friendships with many great peple who are working hard to make life better for Hondurans. Valerie Nelson, David Ashby, Dr. David Black, Charlie and Amalia Kirkhum are trying hard to improve things. We met an incredible young lady, Courtney Lenox that works with very poor kids in Flowers Bay, Roatan. Please visit her group called The World Youth Movement on our links page.
We also spent time in Roatan with the young family that lost their child this past year.
Thanks for all that you do to support our efforts in Honduras. You are changing lives!
